What do they have in common  Django Reinhardt, Matéo Maximoff, Yul Brynner, Serge Poliakoff, Otto Müller,  Tony Gatlif, Camarón, … ? They were Roma ! 

Here below some curiosities and a piece of Roma history for knowing more about Roma (special thanks to the NGO "La voix des Rroms" which allowed us to publish extracts from their informative leaflet, and to Mrs. Miranda Vuolasranta, who allowed us to publish her speech for the commemoration of the Holocaust).

[inline: 1=CD image] "Music beyond prejudice: Romani variations on the European Anthem" is a new Dosta! campaign activity is at the same time a very symbolic one.

Esma Redzepova, Kal, Grupi Folklorik Rome nga Shquperia, R.Point and Yorgui Loeffler, participated in the production of the CD by recording their own arrangement of the European Anthem in Romani and Roma style.

The result is an eclectic and explosive mixture of Balkan sounds, jazz and traditional Roma music which is at the same time faithful to its origins whilst also being completely up to date.
