Dosta! Enough! Go beyond prejudice, meet the Roma!

(04/09/06) In recent months a number of Roma families in several European countries have been evicted by force from their homes. In most cases the decisions were taken by local authorities. The tenants were not given adequate notice or offered a real alternative. It is clear that several of these evictions violated European and international human rights standards.
About Roma
Dosta! is a Council of Europe awareness raising campaign aimed at combating stereotypes and prejudices towards Roma. It was launched in several CoE member states in the framework of co-financed Council of Europe/European Union joint programmes. The Dosta! campaign has received financial support from the governments of Finland and Slovenia to cover both Dosta! activities and the website's design.
