"Dosta", një fjalë Rome që do të thotë “mjaft” është një fushatë ndërgjegjësuese e Këshillit të Evropës/Komisionit Evropian e cila synon të sjellë qytetarët jo Romë më pranë atyre Romë.
"Dosta" do të thotë se ne duam të ndalojmë paragjykimet dhe stereotipet jo duke i denoncuar por duke i thyer ato, duke treguar se kush janë Romët. Sigurisht, ata nuk janë perfektë, por “kush është i tillë?”
The Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities of the Croatian Government, in cooperation with the Roma Youth Initiative"Peace" and the Roma community of the town of Kutina organized activities within the Council of Europe campaign Dosta! on 9 December 2016, at the Cinema Europe in Zagreb.
According to the Second European Union Minorities and Discrimination (EU MIDIS II) Survey by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) published today, some 80 % of the Roma people surveyed live below their country’s at-risk-of-poverty threshold.
I did grow-up poor. Poverty wasn’t though the main issue. Discrimination because we were Roma and poor was the worst part of my childhood.
On 7 November, the very day that Miroslav Demeter's funeral was being held, the Council of Europe's Special Representative of the Secretary General for Roma Issues, Mr Valeriu Nicolae, has sent a letter to Czech Interior Minister Chovanec expressing his "deep concern" over the
